PoliticsDelhi Police Deploys 20,000 Officers, 300 CCTVs for CJP Protest
Ahead of the October 10 protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), Delhi Police has tightened security with over 20,000 officers deployed, more than 300 CCTV cameras monitoring, and 12 detention centers prepared. The police denied permission for the protest at Jantar Mantar, citing the need to maintain law and order, prevent unauthorized gatherings, and secure sensitive areas including a 1.5 km zone around Jantar Mantar, Janpath, Election Commission, and Delhi Police headquarters.
