Delhi Police Approves Congress Rally at Ramlila Maidan for SIR Protest

Delhi Police granted a No Objection Certificate to the Congress party for holding a rally at Ramlila Maidan on November 1 to protest against SIR. This permission came after Jantar Mantar was removed as a designated protest site. Along with Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in East Delhi are now designated protest venues. The Congress party coordinated with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for venue availability before police approval.
