Delhi-NCR Implements GRAP-2 to Curb Air Pollution

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has immediately enforced the second stage of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-2) in Delhi-NCR due to worsening air pollution. The plan bans coal and wood burning, including in hotel and restaurant tandoors, restricts diesel generator use, increases parking fees to reduce private vehicle use, and mandates enhanced street cleaning and dust suppression measures.
