Delhi Man Dies After Metro Seat Dispute; Ex-IAS Officer, Son Arrested

A 48-year-old man, Pawan Sharma, died after being slapped and pushed during a dispute over a senior citizen seat on a Delhi Metro train at Supreme Court Metro station on October 8. Former IAS officer Sanjay Pratap Singh and his son Sidharth Singh were arrested. Sharma sustained head injuries and died at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital. The FIR was filed by Sharma's mother under culpable homicide and common intention sections.
