Delhi Jal Board to Replace 733km Old Pipelines in South Delhi Revamp

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) will undertake a ₹6,044-crore project over three years to replace 732.65 km of old pipelines and lay 606 km of new lines in South Delhi. The project aims to improve water supply for 25 lakh people across 12 assembly constituencies, addressing shortages and contamination issues. The network will expand to 2,478 km, with new underground reservoirs planned.
