Delhi HC Stays JNU Order Dismissing Prof Bimol Akoijam

The Delhi High Court on Monday stayed Jawaharlal Nehru University's order terminating Professor Angomcha Bimol Akoijam over sexual harassment allegations. Justice Anup J Bhambhani issued notice to JNU on Akoijam's petition challenging the dismissal. Akoijam, also a Congress MP from Inner Manipur, was dismissed on October 9 after 11 female students accused him of harassment and inappropriate conduct. The case is set for January hearing.
