Delhi HC orders report on qualifications of doctors accused in child mishandling case

The Delhi High Court has directed the National Medical Commission and Delhi's Directorate General of Health Services to submit a joint inquiry report within two weeks on the qualifications of two doctors accused of mishandling a child at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. The child, Devarsh Jain, suffered severe brain damage and is in a permanent vegetative state with multiple neurological conditions. The court is investigating whether the doctors were qualified to practice as super-specialists.
