Delhi Govt Withholds Additional DCP Duty Charge from Officer Accused of Harassment

The Delhi government has withheld the current duty charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police assigned to Assistant Commissioner Vivek Bhagat, who is accused of sexually harassing a woman journalist during a protest in New Delhi. The October 5 order assigning the duty charge to 12 DANIPS officers, including Bhagat, was based on a proposal from August 25, before the allegations surfaced.

Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 has crossed ₹300 crore in worldwide box office collections despite a 65% drop on Monday. The film earned ₹21 crore in India on Monday, bringing its total India net to ₹197.50 crore and gross to ₹237 crore. Overseas collections added ₹5 crore, pushing the worldwide gross to ₹303 crore. It had a record-breaking opening of ₹62 crore on Friday.

Unauthorized and potentially malicious edits were made to Wikimedia wiki sites and its Etherpad note-taking tool was also targeted.

Sumitomo Corporation from Japan will invest in a 500 MWp solar and wind project with a 200 MWh battery storage system in Bidar, Karnataka.
