Delhi Deploys 6,000+ Cops for CJP Tiranga Yatra on Oct 16

Delhi Police will deploy over 6,000 personnel in the Lutyens’ area for the Cockroach Janta Party's Tiranga Yatra on October 16. An additional 5,000 officers from other districts will guard key locations including Rajiv Chowk, Connaught Place, Central Park, Metro stations, Jantar Mantar, and Palika Bazaar. The march, led by CJP convenor Abhijeet Dipke and supported by activists and AAP, follows arrests of co-convenors. Police have not granted permission for the march but may allow a limited procession elsewhere.
