Delhi Deploys 6,000 Cops for CJP's Tiranga March at Central Park

Delhi is on high alert as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) plans its 'Lehra Do Tiranga' march at Central Park, Connaught Place, at 5pm. Over 6,000 Delhi Police personnel and 26,000 CAPF members are deployed amid ongoing protests against the Election Commission. The police have restricted large gatherings, allowing only a small group to wave the flag and sing the anthem. Central Park will be closed on October 16-17 for administrative reasons.

A woman retired from Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on June 30, 2020, after over 30 years of service. She received Rs 9.04 lakh as leave encashment along with other retirement benefits. The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) allowed the exemption of Rs 9.04 lakh, overturning the taxman's cap of Rs 3 lakh.
