Delhi has declared dry days on October 9 and 10, ordering liquor shops to remain closed due to the prevailing situation in the capital. This decision precedes a planned protest at Jantar Mantar demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation over allegations related to the SIR of electoral rolls. Over 20,000 police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed across the city, according to PTI.
