Delhi Court Convicts Tahir Hussain in 2020 Riots, Acquits 12 Others

A Delhi court convicted former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain for abetment to rioting related to the 2020 northeast Delhi riots in Dayalpur, while acquitting 12 other accused. Judge Praveen Singh convicted Hussain under IPC Sections 147 and 109 but acquitted him of other charges. The sentencing hearing is set for November 16. The 13 accused faced charges including rioting, property damage, and criminal conspiracy.
