Delhi Conducts Cloud Seeding Trials to Combat Post-Diwali Pollution

Delhi government has conducted two cloud seeding trials near Delhi airport in the past two weeks to induce artificial rain and tackle worsening air quality ahead of Diwali. Authorities plan to carry out cloud seeding on two to three upcoming dates, including Chhath, to reduce seasonal pollution levels. No official announcement is expected before Diwali. Trials were conducted at around 30,000 metres altitude.
