Delhi has completed two water treatment plants in Dwarka and Chandrawal at a combined cost of ₹850 crore, adding 155 million gallons per day capacity. However, the new plants remain non-operational due to a lack of raw water supply. The Dwarka Phase-2 plant, costing ₹280 crore, awaits additional water from Haryana's Munak canal. The Chandrawal plant, costing ₹599 crore, is also yet to start operations.
