Delhi Bans Entry of Non-BS-VI Vehicles from November 1

From November 1, Delhi has banned entry of vehicles registered outside the capital that do not meet BS-VI emission standards. This is part of the revised Graded Response Action Plan to control winter pollution and will last until January 31, 2027. Over one million vehicles in Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad fall below BS-VI norms, including 50,000 commercial vehicles. Some exemptions apply.
