Delhi Airport T3 Departure Area to Get Indian Heritage-Inspired Carpets

Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 departure area will undergo a makeover with around 40,000 square metres of new carpets inspired by Indian heritage. The design, named 'Flow of Indian Heritage- A Journey in Colour,' features colourful patterns in terracotta, rust, ochre, and orange to enhance visual appeal and create an engaging environment along the boarding-gate pier.

UAE Honors Indian Captain Smit Machchhar for Bravery in Cockpit Attack

The UAE honored Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar and Flydubai crew for their bravery during a cockpit attack on September 30 on a Dubai-Tel Aviv flight. Despite serious injuries, Machchhar opened the cockpit door, enabling intervention that averted tragedy. UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded them the First Class Order of Zayed II. Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan presented the honors.
