Deep Depression May Intensify into Cyclone Murasu in 6 Hours: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that a deep depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm named 'Murasu' within the next six hours. The system is moving west-northwest at 23 kmph and is centered about 700 km east-southeast of Chennai. It is expected to make landfall along the Andhra Pradesh coast by November 3, bringing winds of 80-90 kmph, gusting up to 100 kmph.
