Data Centres Linked to Shift from Trump to Democratic Voters
Analysis of nearly 150,000 survey respondents shows Republican voters living within 2km of data centres are increasingly supporting Democrats. Since May, support for Democrats among these voters rose from 54% to 61%, compared to a national increase from 53% to 55%. This trend may reflect demographic factors or the influence of data centres on local political preferences ahead of the November midterms.
