Dakota Meyer Chosen to Improve Military Barracks by Defense Secretary
Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer has been appointed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to lead initiatives aimed at improving military barracks. This decision follows reports of poor living conditions for troops, including sleeping in cars, mouldy rooms, broken air conditioning, and lack of hot water and showers. Meyer served in the Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010.
