A Prague court acquitted Yang Yiming, a Chinese man accused of espionage in the Czech Republic, and ordered his release. Arrested in January, Yang was suspected of building connections with Czech officials and gathering harmful information. The court ruled his actions were not criminal. A state attorney appealed the decision. Yang, a journalist linked to a Communist Party newspaper, denied wrongdoing and is not required to leave the country.
