Cyclone Murasu is expected to make landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast between the evening of November 2 and early morning of November 3, 2026. The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Nalgonda and Nagarkurnool districts in Telangana, indicating heavy to very heavy rain with isolated extremely heavy rainfall. An orange alert has been issued for Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, and Wanaparthy districts for heavy to very heavy rainfall on November 3.
