Cyclone Murasu to Make Landfall on South Andhra Coast Monday Midnight

Severe Cyclonic Storm Murasu is expected to make landfall along the south Andhra Pradesh coast around midnight on Monday. The storm is moving north-northwest at 12 kmph over the west-central Bay of Bengal, with sustained winds of 100-110 kmph and gusts up to 120 kmph. It is currently about 60 km east of Kavali and 80 km northeast of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, according to the India Meteorological Department.
