Cyclone Murasu to Hit Andhra Coast Tonight, Chennai Faces Heavy Rain

Severe cyclonic storm Murasu intensified over the Bay of Bengal on November 2, moving towards the south Andhra Pradesh coast. The India Meteorological Department forecasts landfall between 11:30 pm Monday and 4 am Tuesday near Nellore and Narsapur. The cyclone will bring winds of 100-110 kmph with gusts up to 120 kmph and heavy rainfall to coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Chennai, causing waterlogging and flight cancellations. Odisha remains on alert.
