Cyclone Murasu Likely to Hit Andhra Pradesh on November 3

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that a depression over the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a deep depression and is expected to become a cyclonic storm named Murasu. It is likely to cross the Andhra Pradesh coast as a severe cyclonic storm with wind speeds of 100-110 kmph, gusting up to 120 kmph, between Nellore and Narsapur by the morning of November 3. This follows the recent impact of Cyclone Arnab in the region.
