Cyclone Murasu Causes 8 Deaths, Rs 1919 Crore Damage in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the damage caused by Cyclone Murasu on November 5. The cyclone resulted in eight deaths across Bapatla, Guntur, and Palnadu districts. Preliminary estimates put the damage at Rs 1,918.55 crore, affecting over 1.43 lakh hectares of agricultural crops and damaging 983 houses, 346 boats, and 220 fishing nets. Further damage assessment is ongoing.
