Cyclone Murasu Brings Heavy Rain to Northern Tamil Nadu, Cancels 11 Flights

Cyclone Murasu caused heavy rainfall in Chennai and nearby districts as it moved towards the Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coast. The severe cyclonic storm was about 200 km east-northeast of Chennai, moving at 25 kmph. It is expected to cross the South Andhra Pradesh coast near Ongole between late November 2 and early November 3 with winds up to 110 kmph. Eleven flights were cancelled at Chennai Airport due to the storm.
