Cyclone Arnab to Hit Andhra Pradesh Coast on October 28

Cyclone Arnab, developing from a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, is expected to make landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam on October 28. The India Meteorological Department forecasts the storm will intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 26, with wind speeds of 115-125 kmph and gusts up to 140 kmph. Eastern and southern Indian coasts are on high alert.

Moscow to Host 2030 World Weightlifting Championships

Moscow will host the 2030 World Weightlifting Championships, the first major Olympic sports event awarded to Russia since its 2022 invasion of Ukraine, the International Weightlifting Federation announced.
