Cyclone Arnab to Bring Heavy Rain, Landfall in Andhra Pradesh by Oct 28

Cyclonic Storm Arnab over the Bay of Bengal is intensifying and expected to become a very severe cyclonic storm by October 27. The India Meteorological Department warns of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and nearby states. Arnab is forecast to make landfall near Yanam on October 28 with winds of 115–125 kmph, gusting up to 140 kmph, affecting coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
