Cyclone Arnab Makes Landfall on Andhra Coast with Heavy Winds

Cyclone Arnab began making landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast early on October 28, between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam near Yanam, Puducherry. Winds are expected to reach 125-135 km/h, with gusts up to 150 km/h. The cyclone caused uprooted trees and disrupted traffic near National Highway-216 in Yanam. The landfall process may continue for about four hours, according to IMD.
