Cyclone Arnab Causes Rs 4,600 Crore Damage, 7 Deaths in Andhra Pradesh

Cyclone Arnab has caused extensive damage in Andhra Pradesh, with preliminary losses estimated at Rs 4,600 crore and seven deaths reported. Konaseema and West Godavari districts are among the worst affected, with around 8,000 electricity poles damaged in Konaseema alone. The state government is intensifying relief, power restoration, and rehabilitation efforts, with support from Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and central teams. CM Naidu has briefed Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the situation.
