WorldCyberattack on Arizona Court Exposes Data of 1.3 Million People
A cyberattack on Arizona's court system compromised personal data of 1.3 million people with unpaid court fees and fines dating back 30 years. Attackers also stole records of nearly 30,000 protection orders and 150,000 foster care reports from 2010 onward. The breach began after an employee clicked a malicious email link. The court stopped the attack within two hours and has notified affected individuals. No evidence shows the data has been misused, and court operations remain unaffected.
