Customs Seize Ganja Worth ₹1.71 Crore at Chennai Airport, Woman Arrested

Customs officials at Chennai airport arrested an Indian woman arriving from Kuala Lumpur after seizing 4,877 grams of ganja valued at ₹1.71 crore. The drugs were hidden in 15 packets inside food packets in her checked baggage. This is the second major seizure in two days, following a 1,478-gram ganja recovery from a male passenger from Bangkok on October 29. Investigations are ongoing under the NDPS Act, 1985.
