Cruise Ship Residents Disembark in Cambodia Due to Fuel Cost Surge
The cruise ship Villa Vie Odyssey, which housed long-term residents for over two years, had to disembark passengers in Cambodia because of a sharp rise in fuel costs from $1,800 to $8,000. Operations were suspended, and passengers received temporary accommodation while some left for their destinations. The ship plans to refuel before resuming its journey.
