CPCB warns NCR industries over pollution control non-compliance

On October 30, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) directed authorities in Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan to issue show-cause notices to industries in the National Capital Region (NCR) that have not ordered pollution-control devices as per the revised emission norms set by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). The CPCB threatened to shut down non-compliant units.
