Counterfeit Liquor Worth ₹11.55 Lakh Seized in Pune and Ahilyanagar

The Maharashtra Excise Department seized counterfeit liquor worth ₹11.55 lakh in Pune and Ahilyanagar ahead of Diwali. They arrested three suspects linked to the racket. The raid recovered 96 bottles of Royal Stag whisky with fake caps and labels and 5,040 bottles of GM Santra country liquor in Junnar taluka, plus additional stock in Ahilyanagar. The operation followed a tip-off about illegal storage and sale.

ISRO Plans Five Major Missions Including Gaganyaan Unmanned Flight

ISRO strengthened India's NavIC system by successfully launching the NVS-03 navigation satellite, bringing the total to four satellites in orbit. Two more satellites are being prepared, and one is awaiting approval to reach the required seven for better navigation services. ISRO plans at least five launches this fiscal year, including the first unmanned mission of Gaganyaan, with three unmanned missions planned before sending humans to space. ISRO flew NVS-03 satellite with pyro valves open to ensure mission success

ISRO chief V Narayanan stated that to overcome technical issues and ensure mission reliability, the NVS-03 satellite was operated with three pyro valves open. This decision followed rigorous vibration and shock tests by a national committee led by former ISRO chief Kiran Kumar.
