Delhi HC refuses to stay probe into journalists accused of casteist remarks on ACP...

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday declined to stay the investigation into two journalists accused of making casteist remarks against ACP Vivek Bhagat. The journalists allegedly humiliated the officer and obstructed his duties during an October 3 protest. Justice Mini Pushkarna said the investigation cannot be stayed without reviewing the Delhi Police's status report. Due to Cyclone Arnab, Odisha has ordered the closure of schools and Anganwadi centres in Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Koraput, Rayagada, and Nabarangpur districts starting October 27.
