Cognizant Q3 Revenue Rises 4.6%, Narrows 2026 Growth Forecast

Cognizant reported a 4.6% revenue increase to $5.66 billion for Q3 ending September 2026, beating estimates. The IT firm narrowed its full-year 2026 revenue growth guidance to 4-4.44% from 4-5.5%, citing macroeconomic factors, policy uncertainty, and decision delays. Net income surged 129% to $627 million, boosted by a prior year tax expense. Operating margin fell 60 basis points to 15.4%. Trailing 12-month bookings rose 4% to $28.7 billion, though Q3 bookings dropped 7%.
