Coal India Production Rises 9.2% to 53.5 MT in September

Coal India reported a 9.2% year-on-year increase in production to 53.5 million tonnes in September. Supplies grew 12.5% to 61.2 million tonnes, with power sector supplies up 10.6% to 48.9 million tonnes and non-regulated sector supplies rising 19.4%. The company is confident of meeting its FY27 production target of 815 MT and supply target of 850 MT, expecting further growth post-monsoon.
