Class 4 Student Dies After Contact with High-Tension Wire in Ballia School

An 11-year-old Class 4 student, Arshad Ahmed, died after touching a high-tension electricity wire at a government primary school in Kanaila village, Ballia district. The incident occurred around 9 am when he was sent to pluck bottle gourds for the mid-day meal scheme. The acting principal, assistant teacher, and shiksha mitra were arrested for negligence. The principal and teacher were suspended, and termination proceedings started for the shiksha mitra.
