CJP Questions Delhi Metro Closure Amid Shivaji Park Protest Debate
Abhijeet Dipke, founder of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), criticized the closure of Delhi metro stations during protests. He questioned authorities for denying protest permission at Mumbai's Shivaji Park and Delhi's Jantar Mantar, asking if metro shutdowns cause more inconvenience than protests. Ahead of protests by AISA and AAP at Jantar Mantar, Delhi Metro closed entry and exit at 12 stations due to heightened security for Gandhi Jayanti events.
