CJP Leaders Challenge Custody Extension in Delhi High Court

Cockroach Janta Party leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have challenged a two-day extension of their judicial custody in the Delhi High Court. The extension was ordered on October 19 by Special Executive Magistrate Ritu Raj due to alleged violations of peace bonds after their attempt to hold a Tiranga protest at Jantar Mantar despite prohibitory orders. They were first detained on October 10 and released after furnishing Rs 50,000 peace bonds but rearrested on October 14 for attempting another protest. They seek an urgent hearing on the matter.
