CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka, Abhijeet Deepak, and Saurav Das were detained for about 23 hours and released Sunday morning. At a press conference, they accused the government of detaining people to protect Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, calling it kidnapping. Saurav Das claimed an emergency-like situation in India, alleging Delhi has become a cantonment and fear is being spread to keep Kumar in office. He questioned Kumar's undisclosed secrets and suggested RSS supports his removal.
