The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and the Opposition united to demand the restoration of Jantar Mantar as a protest site after three CJP members were jailed. Leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were remanded to five days' judicial custody for trespassing and violating peace bonds. The magistrate cited their past conduct as a risk to peace. The arrests followed a protest where leaders breached barricades and raised the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar, now decommissioned as a protest site.
