Chris Woakes, who famously batted with a dislocated shoulder in his final Test at The Oval, criticized the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for the way his international career ended. Woakes learned he was dropped through a blunt public statement by England Men's managing director Rob Key, who said Woakes was not in future plans. Woakes called the announcement cold and felt undervalued, wishing for a private conversation instead.
