Chris Brown Avoids Jail After Guilty Plea in London Nightclub Assault

Chris Brown pleaded guilty to affray after attacking music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, in February 2023. He received an eight-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months, avoiding jail. Judge Tony Baumgartner emphasized that Brown's fame does not grant special treatment. Brown was arrested at Manchester's Lowry Hotel and appeared at Southwark Crown Court. His vocal coach also received a suspended sentence.
