China has experienced a significant rise in industrial tourism this summer, with tours to electric vehicle, electronics, high-speed train factories, shipyards, and breweries increasing by over 36% year-on-year. Families make up 68% of bookings. This trend, promoted by the Communist Party, aims to showcase industrial strength and educate youth.
