Chhattisgarh Plans Rs 5.60 Lakh Crore Investment in Energy Sector by 2030

At the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit 2026, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced investment opportunities worth Rs 5.60 lakh crore over five years in the energy sector. The state aims to develop 23,923 MW renewable energy capacity with Rs 1.33 lakh crore investment and expand thermal power with Rs 3.27 lakh crore. The summit was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi and attended by key Union ministers.
