Chennai Petroleum and MRPL Report Strong Q2 Profit and Dividends

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited reported a 212% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹2,247.03 crore in Q2 FY27, up from ₹719.19 crore last year. Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) posted nearly a threefold rise in standalone net profit to ₹1,881 crore, compared to ₹639 crore in the same quarter. Both PSUs also declared dividends for FY27, with Chennai Petroleum's revenue rising to ₹22,055 crore from ₹20,033 crore.
