Centre Seeks Punjab Report on Activist Jhota's Murder and Drug Measures

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has requested the Punjab government to submit a detailed report on the October 13 killing of anti-drug activist Parwinder Singh, alias Jhota, in Mansa. The ministry also seeks information on steps taken to combat drug trafficking and substance abuse, including setting up an Anti-Narcotics Task Force, financial probes, special NDPS courts, and better coordination through NCORD.
