Centre Releases ₹1.09 Lakh Crore Additional Tax Devolution to States

On October 31, 2026, the Centre released an additional tax devolution instalment of ₹1.09 lakh crore to state governments. This is the second additional instalment this financial year, over and above the regular monthly devolution. Currently, 41% of taxes collected by the Centre are devolved to states in 14 instalments annually to support capital spending and development expenditure.

FBI Blames North Korea for $6.3 Billion Binance Hack

The FBI has attributed the $6.3 billion cryptocurrency theft from Binance to North Korea's state-backed hacking group TraderTraitor.
